The Phoenix Suns have been a dominant force in the NBA. They have the best record in the league currently and are a really well-drilled team gunning for the NBA Championship this season. Their leader of the pack, Chris Paul has continued to help this team win since joining last season. CP3 guided the Suns to the NBA Finals last season but they lost out against the Milwaukee Bucks. So this season Chris Paul is looking to make another title charge as they look excellent this season to win the Championship.
Suns will look to continue their winning run against the Los Angeles Clippers. These two teams have a history as Paul George went right at the Suns last season. Following a regular-season game, Paul George decided not to shake hands with Chris Paul. Their few games were a physical affair, and it was scrappy so PG13 was not a happy customer. While Paul George and Devin Booker has had their altercation in the past, now it seems like Chris Paul also has a beef against the Clippers star.
After not shaking hands last season, Paul George didn’t entertain a question regarding CP3. It was shocking to see something like this as fans were wondering what is wrong between the two stars.
The Suns came out on top against the Clippers last season. With a close game on hand, CP3 went off against his former team and scored 28 points, he also registered 10 assists. After the game both the players retracted from speaking about each other and did not even shake hands after the game.
The beef started from an earlier game when Paul George owned the Phoenix Suns and could not stop talking about them. He scored 33 points against the Suns and secured a great win. After his great performance, George said he did not care the way the Suns were playing.
He said: “I don’t know what that chirp is about. We focused on us. I don’t care what they’re doing over there. I don’t care who they are or what they’re doing. I’m locked in. They can do the chirping, I let them have it tonight. I just stayed in my zone, stayed in my place, I don’t know, I don’t care what they’re doing.”
Whenever Paul George and Chris Paul came head to head there have been epic matches in the past and it will only raise the excitement of the NBA fans.
