Orlando Magic’s Power Forward Jonathan Isaac has sustained a torn ACL in his left knee and will be missing in action indefinitely.
The player fell awkwardly in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s match against Sacramento with about 9 minutes left.
MRI tests conducted after the game revealed that the player had damaged his anterior cruciate ligament.
Statistics, according to the NBA, show that Isaac has played in 34 games (32 starts) this season for Orlando, averaging 11.9 ppg., 6.8 rpg., 1.4 apg., 2.29 blkpg. and 1.56 stlpg. in 28.8 minpg.
Meanwhile, in other developing stories, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Dennis Schroder has left the NBA campus to be with his wife, who is expecting a baby soon.
By so doing, the 26-year-old will miss Monday’s clash between Thunders and Denver Nuggets as well as a couple of seeding games.
Oklahoma City Thunder coach Billy Donovan revealed this on Monday before the clash with Denver Nuggets.
“It happened this morning, so he’s with his family at this point in time, I’ll have a chance probably to talk to him and find out a little bit more, if it’s not later today or tomorrow. Right now, for at least this game, he’ll be out. We’ll probably be able to gather some more information once we get a chance to spend a little more time with him over the phone.” Donovan was quoted on NBA’s official website.
Schroder, who had already revealed earlier in July of his plan to leave the bubble so as to be with his wife by the time she will have her second baby.
However, before he can return, he will undergo quarantine before he will be allowed to join the team.
