Nikola Jokic delivered an exceptional triple-double, scoring 29 points, grabbing 18 rebounds, and dishing out 16 assists as the Denver Nuggets triumphed in overtime, defeating the Brooklyn Nets 144-139 in New York. Jokic’s all-around performance anchored Denver’s rally, marking their second consecutive overtime victory.

Supporting Jokic, Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon each scored 24 points, while Russell Westbrook contributed 22 points off the bench. Michael Porter Jr. added 16 points, and Christian Braun chipped in 12 as Denver showed its depth.

Brooklyn had a balanced attack with seven players scoring in double figures, led by Dennis Schroder, who registered 28 points and 14 assists. Cam Thomas added 26 points, and Cameron Johnson’s late 3-pointer brought the Nets within striking distance, cutting the lead to 141-137 with 26.5 seconds left. However, Denver held firm to close out the win.

Mavericks 120, Timberwolves 114

Kyrie Irving’s 35-point effort led the Dallas Mavericks to a 120-114 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves in Minneapolis. Irving shot an efficient 13-for-23 from the field, helping the Mavericks secure their second win in as many nights.

Luka Doncic provided strong support with 24 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists, while P.J. Washington added 17 points and eight boards.

Minnesota’s Anthony Edwards scored a game-high 37 points on 12-of-20 shooting, but his team’s two-game winning streak came to an end. Julius Randle contributed 20 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists, with Naz Reid adding 14 points and nine rebounds off the bench.

DeMar DeRozan contributed 20 points and eight assists, while De’Aaron Fox finished with 19 points. Keegan Murray and Kevin Huerter also scored in double digits with 14 points each.

The Jazz were paced by Jordan Clarkson’s 21 points on 8-of-16 shooting, while John Collins added 18 points and seven rebounds off the bench. Despite their efforts, Utah struggled to contain the Kings’ well-rounded attack.
