NBA Analyst feels Los Angeles Clippers need to avoid injuries and they really have a great chance at the title this season

The Los Angeles Clippers have a very solid team but they have not been the luckiest with their injury concerns here and there and hence the team has never reached it’s potential. But recently NBA Analyst Ohm Youngmisuk shared how the Clippers now seem to have some method to their madness and they have an idea to stop the injury concerns and finally achieve something that this squad can achieve.

Kawhi Leonard will look to start slow as he will return from a knee injury after missing the entirety of last season he will once again look to lead the Clippers once again. Whereas Paul George also had injury issues. Last season he had issues as well as the Clippers were down and out.

While Kawhi Leonard is back and the two time champion is looking in good shape and will be eager to hit the court running, the Klaw also needs some slow progression as he returns from a major injury. Therefore Youngmisuk suggests that the Clippers coach Tyron Lue’s main aim will be to keep his players healthy and with the talent they have on their roster it will be enough to even challenge for the title as they even add some more than decent role players to their roster which includes John Wall.

“Number 1, keeping Kawhi healthy, and John Wall, and those guys. But Number 2, because the Clippers have to have a plan, keeping these guys safe from suffering any setbacks. They have 11 of their first 15 back-to-backs I believe before February 1st. That’s gotta mean to me that you don’t play some of these guys in these back-to-backs,” Youngmisuk suggested on ‘That’s Odd’ podcast highlighting the shortcomings of the Clippers in the past couple of seasons.

He shared how this will be the fourth year of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard combination but still the players have not had much time on court together. However they will have to make things work this season especially on that end.

“Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, fact of the matter is that this is year four for them, it’s kinda time that we see what they can do. Some of that have been out of their hands with injuries and the disruption of the pandemic in year 1. … A lot of this is like, these guys need minutes on the floor together.”

The fans and the experts are excited as they know what Leonard can do and they have seen that for teams like the San Antonio Spurs and also with the Toronto Raptors. So a healthy Klaw will be dangerous for the entire league along with Paul George and John Wall leading the supporting cast.

After a poor last season the Clipperswill be aiming for the cloud and anything less will be an understatement to the talent they have in their roster.
