NBA Analyst Doris Burke shared her thoughts on the Kyrie Irving situation and how the Brooklyn Nets have failed to handle things

It has been a very rough two years for Kyrie Irving as he simply cannot take a break from controversies. Currently the point guard is suspended by the Brooklyn Nets for his antisemitic views after he uploaded a link of a documentary and decided not to explain his stance. Recently NBA Analyst Doris Burke shared his thoughts on the entire issue as the situation only gets sour between the player and the organization.

While some of the players including LeBron James has asked the nets to resolve the issue in a better way and allow Kyrie Irving to get back on the court. The social media pages have been talking about the issue and people are divided with their opinions.

However some people including Burke believe that Lebron James does not do anything without a thought and Burke thinks that this support and call for reconsideration to the Brooklyn Nets is a plot to recruit Kyrie Irving. Lebron has won NBA titles with his former teammate, Kyrie Irving and considering the conditions of the Lakers, they desperately need help.

Burke also touched upon how the Brooklyn Nets were linked with Ime Udoka for the head coach position after Steve Nash’s sacking. Burke was shocked to see the Nets not giving a damn to the entire Kyrie situation rather they were trying to sort out their head coach situation.

“LeBron says nothing without thinking it through for a long stretch of time. And the Kyrie situation, to me, it was like the inappropriateness, the unseemliness of Brooklyn even thinking about hiring Ime Udoka in such a short period of time,” Burke opened up.

“You can’t go there right now. Look at what has happened in Kyrie’s last two stops, he’s kind of unraveled his situation first and get where he needs to be,” she added.

Despite attracting too much negativity on social media and also in general, they have been playing pretty well with Kevin Durant leading the team on court with some solid performances.

Currently Kyrie Irving is suspended for five games and will only return to court only after he meets six conditions. He also met Adam Silver and the NBA Commissioner came to the conclusion via a statement sharing that he does not believe that the Nets superstar is antisemitic. However Brooklyn Nets owner Joe Tsai feels an apology is not enough as he feels that there has been a lot of things happening and he demands more reaction of remorse from Kyurie for his actions.
