Golden State Warriors guard Draymond Green believes it was not necessary for LeBron James to play in the Drew League. James recently played in the Drew League and stunned everyone. The veteran player is now 37-year-old and he will be playing in his 20th season of the NBA.
It is well known that James has a lot of eagerness to play and always gives his best on the court. James has always been a fighter in his career and it was his hunger to play in the Drew League.
Akron Hammer had played along with Chicago Bulls star wing DeMar DeRozan in the Drew League.
Draymond Green said on Eponymous show, “Bron going to play in the Drew League like that’s monumental, like Lebron James does not have to go play in the Drew League. That’s insane. He’s in year 20 by the way, still going to play in the Drew League.
“I thought that was absolutely incredible, and you know to watch the intensity level… you have to understand the dynamic in things like, that happening okay, so it’s Lebron James which everyone wants their opportunity to say, ‘I did x to LeBron James. I scored on Lebron. I got a stop. I stripped him, I blocked his shot… and most importantly I beat him…'”
On the other hand, LeBron James’ LA Lakers could not even qualify for the playoffs as they could not come up with a collective show and their progress was also hampered by injuries.
Furthermore, LeBron James averaged 30.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6.2 assists in 56 games in 2021-22. He was selected to play in his eighteenth All-Star games.
