LeBron James ended a nine year wait when he won the NBA title with the Miami Heat. He was 27 at that time and since then things have started rolling for the man from Akron. It has been a long journey for LeBron James in the NBA and he definitely has come a long way.
Currently, he is with his third franchise and is gearing up for a new season with the Los Angeles Lakers. Over the years in the NBA he has had innumerable memories and moments. Recently while going through some of his memories he revealed that he is more mature at Lakers than he was earlier.
It has never been easy for LeBron to mostly be in the spotlight all the time and then consistently perform and stay in the news throughout. Therefore the veteran explained how his mind functions all of these activities together.
The 36-year-old has revealed that he has got a little bit more patient, as he explained “I’ve gotten a little bit more patient with the process as the years went on. I joined D-Wade almost 11 years ago and then Kyrie (Irving) about seven years ago. So I was just at a different point in my life.”
Bron formed a big three team in Miami and when they failed to win the NBA in 2011, it literally broke him as a person. But he came out better than ever and joined forces with Kyrie Irving in Cleaveland breaking the curse back in 2016.
“When I went to Miami, I was 25 years old. I was still figuring out who I was as a person, figuring out what I wanted in life. Then when I was 29, when I teamed up with Kyrie… I’m 36 going on 37 now. My life is pretty much settled, ‘I know who I am, what I bring to the table I know how to put myself and put the guys around me in a position to be successful. And not get too high, get too low, just kinda stay…”
Lastly, LeBron James revealed that he never touched wine until he was with Dwayne Wade. He never allowed the thought of drinking to the occasion get to him and only drank after he got legitimate credibility and success. It speaks volumes about his determination towards his goal in life.
