LeBron James has been the face of the NBA for some time now. He often rises up and takes a stand for many issues when he feels that it is disrespectful to the game. Even when something wrong has happened against his team. Recently, Houston Rockets star Kevin Porter Jr. came up with a match winning shot to defeat Washington Wizards.
After the game Washington Wizards broadcast team had an inexcusable moment where he reacted to Kevin Porter Jr’s game-winning shot with derogatory comments about his father. Therefore when LeBron saw it he called out the broadcast and held them responsible.
The Houston Rockets defeated the Wizards 114-111 in a very tight game. Although Kevin Porter Junior had a very average game. But he came up with a fantastic game winning shot to help the Rockets secure the win.
After the shot, the Wizards broadcaster made some vile comments and the fans were having none of it. The Rockets fans are calling out the broadcaster and asking the Wizards to fire him for his inexcusable comments on Kevin Porter Junior’s dad.
The Rockets were away from home at Washington and they were a man short when Bradley Beal was fouled out. But they kept fighting to find the equaliser late in the game. But a beautifully set up shot from Kevin Porter Junior helped the Rockets win the game.
The Washington broadcast argued that they made comments on Kevin Porter Junior’s shootin. But LeBron James had none of it as he could’s process how a broadcaster can stoop so low after making such horrible comments about a player.
LeBron James tweeted, “Oh he thought this was cool huh!!?? Nah we ain’t going for this! Sorry but this ain’t going to fly! How insensitive can you be to say something like this. Beat it man! I pray for you but there’s no place in our beautiful game for you!”
The NBA fans all around the world could not believe that a Washington Wizards broadcast could say something like this about an opponent player on television. It is a blow below the belt after a close fought contest lost by the Wizards.
