LA Lakers owner Jeanie Buss has rated former Chicago Bulls talisman Michael Jordan as the Greatest of All Time. Jordan had a different aura about himself as he was like a hungry lion on the court. The talisman always had a fighting spirit with himself and he demolished the opposition on his days.
The linchpin won six NBA titles with Chicago Bulls and the team was always a force to reckon with Jordan as the center of attraction. During his glorious career of 1072 matches, Jordan averaged a stunning 30.1 points per game.
Jordan achieved all which was there in the books and played a key role in revolutionizing the sport. He always had the hunger to give his 120% on the court and mostly delivered the goods for his team.
On the other hand, former NBA champion and now an analyst Richard Jefferson feels LeBron James hasn’t done enough as a Laker. James had led the Lakers to glory in the 2020 season but apart from that he hasn’t been able to go all the way with the team.
In fact, the Lakers could not even qualify for the postseason in the previous edition of the NBA owing to injury woes to LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
Jefferson said as per Hoops Hype: “LeBron James has not done enough as a Laker to be on that list,” Jefferson said. “Bron been there now, this is his fourth season, right? They’ve been in there four seasons. Two years, they haven’t made the postseason. One year, they lost in the first round. And one year, they won a championship.”
Meanwhile, James has had a glorious career and he has been an inspiration to many young players. The talisman is still going strong at 37 and he is all set to play his 20th season in the NBA. Akron Hammer will look to turn the tables in the next season of the NBA.
