NBA analyst Marc J. Spears has showered praise on Golden State Warriors talisman Steph Curry. Spears tipped Curry as the most revered athlete ever in NBA history and compared his impact with the likes of Larry Bird, Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, and Dirk Nowitzki.
Spears expects that Golden State Warriors will give a dramatic farewell to Steph Curry. The linchpin has ticked all the right boxes in his career and he has grown in stature with the Dubs.
Curry is regarded as one of the best shooters of all time and he has delivered for the franchise throughout the years. The 34-year-old has an average of 24.3 in 826 matches he has played in his career while he has a three-point percentage of 42.8, which is among the best in the league.
ESPN’s Marc J. Spears said, “I think he’s one of them people like Larry Bird, Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, Dirk Nowitzki, that plays an entire career and gets whatever.”
“I think when Curry is in his last days, there will be a lot of tears from Warriors fans. He is, to me, the most revered athlete ever… I see him finishing his career there. I see him living in the Bay (Area). And I see him impacting Oakland for many decades to come.”
There is no doubt that Steph Curry still has a lot of fuel left in his tank and it will be interesting to note how his career pans out from here.
Meanwhile, Curry averaged 31.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 2.0 steal while shooting 48.2% overall in the NBA Finals 2021-22 as he was at his best. Thus, he was awarded the NBA Finals MVP.
