The Golden State Warriors are on a roll this season. After a couple of drab seasons, no one thought that the Stephen Curry led side will come up and dominate the NBA like this. They have been very balanced in attack and defence that had led the Warriors to one of the best records in the league.
However star man Draymond Green revealed that he did not even imagine the team to be this good so early into the season. The Warriors are one of the contenders for the NBA Championship this season. The Dubs have been a massive threat for every team that they have faced this season. Apart from Curry leading the lines, players like Jordan Poole, Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, Gary Payton II have all played their roles this season. They will look to continue that form by bringing the trophy back to Golden State.
Draymond Green, who is a star for the Warriors on the court still seems surprised at his team’s performance this season. While speaking to the media, Green highlighted how he never thought that the Warriors will come out so strong this season. Green explained saying: “I didn’t know we’d be this good. I think we are a damn good team, and I didn’t think we’d be this good, and especially this fast. Now in saying that, we have a long way to go. This is a marathon, not a sprint. It’s not the first team to 30 wins or anything like that. It’s who can consistently get better, night in and night out, day in and day out, so that when April, May, and June come around you put yourself in the best position to win a championship.”
Stephen Curry came out and issued a warning about the Warriors before the start of this season. Things are gradually and surely heading into that path. Curry and the others are living up to that promise and the fans’ expectations.
With players like Klay Thompson and James Wiseman all set to come back to the forefront, the Warriors are only going to get stronger with their arrival. The Dubs are leading the Western Conference and will look to continue that form in the coming days.
