Paul has been instrumental in the success of Phoenix Suns and he has done a fine job for the team. The 36-year old has made the most of his experience and he has been consistently delivering the goods for the team.

Meanwhile, Chris Paul scored 32 points as Phoenix Suns won by 118-115 in the first Game of the NBA finals against the Milwaukee Bucks. Furthermore, he scored nine assists and made a stellar debut in the NBA finals.

Thus, the 36-year old has matched former Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan’s record. Paul finished with 30 points, nine assists and four rebounds as he  came up with an all-round performance.

Chris Paul is the first player with 30 points and 8 assists in a Finals debut since Michael Jordan in 1991.

Paul continued his prolific form as he had scored 41 points in the last match (Game 6) of the Western Conference finals against the LA Clippers.

On the other hand, Paul has received support from Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton. Booker was all praise for Paul as he said that the veteran is the greatest leader to play the game. Booker also contributed to the win in the first game of the NBA finals for Phoenix Suns as the 24-year old youngster scored 27 points.

Phoenix Suns have been coming up with collective efforts and they will look to continue the good show. On the other hand, the Milwaukee Bucks will look to bounce back in the series. The second game of the series will be played on Thursday night between the Suns and Bucks.
