Friday, August 14, is another match day at the bubble and another day to earn by placing bets on matches of the day. Before staking, however, it would be good to have a look at our betting tips for the day to enable you to make better decisions.
First, we look at Philadelphia 76ers take on the Houston Rockets. The Rockets is one team that has taken it upon themselves to dominate the bubble, having lost only one of their games so far. The 76ers have won some games and lost some, but they still have a chance to prove themselves, and they might just do that in their fixture against the Rockets.
The two have played 144 regular-season games with the Rockets winning 74 of them—a close margin. The Rockets have also won 3 of their past five meetings against the 76ers. Their last meeting, March 2019, ended 108-118, the Rockets leading with 10 points. They have also played more games ending with a total scoreline of over 200 points.
Next, we have Miami Heat vs. Indiana Pacers. The Pacers have a good history of beating the Heat, winning 66 out of 115 regular-season games. The Pacers also won their 2 last games against Heat, but Heat won the last 3 before that. Based on their performance in the bubble, the Pacers have only lost one game in the bubble. The Miami Heat have also enjoyed some wins in the bubble, not without some losses and upsets. But both teams have no problem with scoring 100+ points each.
After that, we watch the Denver Nuggets battle against the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors lost their last Friday game against the Boston Celtics, their only loss in the bubble so far. The Nuggets have been on and off, winning some matches and losing some too.
Based on their recent performance, the Nuggets have a fair chance against the Raptors. The Nuggets have also won 4 out of their last 5 previous meetings with the Raptors, the latest being March this year, putting them as the favourite to win this match.
