Every day is game day at the NBA bubble facility, making up for months when we never saw a single game. Players have resumed on a high note, assuring us that the season may just have a very good ending, despite the disruption. This week has a series of interesting games, and we would be providing you with betting tips for Friday’s games.
First on the line is Utah Jazz vs. San Antonio Spurs. The Jazz have played two games already, winning the first and losing the second. Jazz and Spurs have met 190 times in the regular season over the past years, with Jazz winning 83 of the games while Spurs won 107.
Spurs won 3 of their last five meetings, including the most recent two, which took place this year. Spurs also won their game against their first opponent in the bubble, Sacramento Kings. Recent meetings between Jazz and Spurs have ended in a total scoreline of more than 200 points.
Later in the day, Sacramento Kings would face Brooklyn Nets. Kings played their first game of the bubble against San Antonio Spurs and lost by 9 points, but we cannot just dismiss them yet since Brooklyn Nets also lost their last game against Orlando Magic on Friday, July 31. Kings and Nets met 5 times in the last 3 years, and the Nets won 3 of their recent games.
Overall, they seem almost tied, having met 90 times in regular-season format, with Kings winning 49 games while Nets have won 41. The last time they met in November 2019, Kings lost by almost 20 points. One thing that seems common in their previous meetings is how both teams always scored, at least, 90 points, with both games ending with 100+ points each for both sides
The last game for the day is between the Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors. The Celtics already lost their first game in the to the Milwaukee Bucks 119-112. The same can’t be said for 2018/2019 championship winners, Toronto Raptors who won their game against Los Angeles Lakers 107-92, a high margin.
The Boston Celtics won 3 out of their last 5 meetings with the Raptors, even though the Raptors won the last game they played in December 2019. Since they first played against each other in 1995, the Celtics have won 56 out of 96 season regular games. The total scoreline for both teams has always been more than 200 points based on their last 5 meetings.
